Outpatient Program

Outpatient treatment offers counseling, education and group therapy for the alcohol or chemically dependent individual as well as family members affected by substance use. Libertas offers two approaches to outpatient treatment.

Early Intervention Program
This program meets once a week and is designed for individuals who may benefit from group involvement. Here, education about substance use disorder, related issues and discussion is explored in a group setting.

Individual Counseling
Individual counseling is a one-on-one session with a Libertas counselor, designed for people who are not comfortable in a group setting and who may benefit from a more private setting.

Intensive Outpatient Program

If the assessment shows someone would benefit from a higher level of care, Libertas has an intensive outpatient treatment program with sessions offered 3 days a week. The number of weeks is based on individual need, and daytime and evening sessions are available. This program is medically and evidenced-based and includes:
  • Physician supervision
  • Individual counseling
  • Group therapy and education
  • Family counseling and education with the patient

Aftercare

After completing treatment, Libertas recommends adults participate in Aftercare. Aftercare is a continuation program designed to enhance an individual’s road to recovery. This is an informal, less intense group meeting with a counselor once a week for approximately 16 weeks.
